THIS DOES NOT TAKE PLACE IN THE KINGDOM UNIVERSE - THIS ONLY APPLIES TO OVENBREAK. I do not give a FUCK about Kingdom lore - do not call my ship abusive for whatever stupid bullshit the writers put in years after my own lore's creation.

AvoMatcha, Avocado x Matcha, Matchacado, Guacamole Tea, GuacTea, whatever you wanna call this goofy ship, this is the shrine for it!

I fell in love with this ship in 2019, when I got into the mobile game Cookie Run: OvenBreak. I'll be honest, I do think Cookie Run kinda sucks major ass these days - all mobile gachas suck ass - and I really do not give a monkey's toss about 99% of the content in Kingdom. However, I think this ship embodies what I love about pre-2020s Cookie Run; a bunch of simple yet interesting characters that you can make up whatever goofball headcanon you want with them. It's kinda why I latch onto things like rhythm game characters these days.

"What's an AvoMatcha and why do you care?"

AvoMatcha is the ship between the characters Avocado Cookie x Matcha Cookie. Avocado Cookie is a goofy, pun-loving blacksmith, while Matcha Cookie is the failed attempt of created a second Dark Enchantress Cookie (one of the series' main antagonists) and was tossed aside - she also uncontrollable giggles a lot due lacking a certain ingredient (implied to be pomegranite syrup). It was actually once a pretty common-ish ship in the early days of Cookie Run: OvenBreak upon Avocado Cookie's release. Why is that? Well, take a gander at the quote the destroyed my sanity.

This is what caused people to ship them together. People liked the idea of Avocado making Matcha laugh even more. Of course, as more Cookie Run came, this ship sorta fell out of popularity. There's a bunch of other ships with much more canon weight to this. I mean, the one amazing thing Kingdom did was pretty much make SeaMoon canon - SeaMoon is awesome as hell.

I'll be real here, I'm probably the only person who still cares about AvoMatcha to this degree, and I'm fine with that. I made up my own story about them and that's what I love. My ship and story are essentially a time capsule of what Cookie Run and its fancontent used to be. We have all this super complicated Kingdom lore now with people constantly fighting about characters' morality and.... I woefully do not give a shit about any of it. I just wanted cute character designs with a few basic things to work off of and go my own route with it.

I turned what a bunch of people would see as just "oh haha Avo make Matcha laff" into "Avocado helped Matcha overcome a very traumatic situation while also dealing with her own personal issues."

When I'm with you I don't know whether I should study neurosurgery or go to see the Care Bears movie
