Ex-Yugoslav Music!
Yugoslavia was a country in Southeast and Central Europe that existed from 1918 to 1992, and now they exist as Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia (+ Kosovo and Vojvodina) and Slovenia.
I got interested in ex-Yugoslav music thanks to Eurovision entries such as "Jedan Dan" and "Gori Vatra" and "Hajde Da Ludujemo" - I was intrigued and simply wanted more! To me Ex-YU music just has vibe that's extremely nostalgic despite not growing up with it. Almost like... lostwave but not lost in a way.
I'll probably make a list of personal reccomendations in the future, but for now, have some playlists! Enjoy!
